Natures Music
Listen to the music
that weaves between the leaves
The constant sound of nature
that sings each time she breathes
Her lyrics are so playful
full of rhythmic charm
Encouraging a calmness
that shreds away alarm
Some are deaf to the music
and that’s a real shame
But I can hear her rhythm
as through my ears she plays
Absorbing me in wonder
with her melody so bright
Such everlasting music
to me that seems just right.

IT’S ALL A STATE OF BALANCE
BETWEEN THE THEN AND NOW
FOR TIME IT HAS NO CONCEPTS
OF HOWS OR WHERES OR WHEN
IT’S JUST A SILLY MEASURE
THAT WE’VE PUT INTO PLACE
SO WE CAN TRACE OUR MOMENTS
BEFORE THEY ARE ERASED
WE SPEAK AS IF WE’RE CLEVER
AT ALL THAT WE PERCEIVE
BUT ITS MORE ABOUT THE NOTHING
INBETWEEN THE THINGS WE LEAVE
WE SIMPLE CALL IT BLACKNESS
AS IF IT WHERE NOT THERE
FOR THERE IS ONLY LIGHT
AS FAR AS WE’RE AWARE,
THE MATHS IS QUITE BEYOND US
BUT ONE DAY WE WILL SEE
THE PAST,TODAY,TOMORROW
ALL RESIDE IN THEE
