A Memory Of Love & Accepting Change

A little later than inspected, I am back from my Autumn break in Crete.

A Memory of Love

We all just leave a memory

And perhaps a broken heart

So different from when we came here

At that time we called the start

We learnt so many lessons

And stepped on lots of toes

But we hope we’ve left a thought

That makes a love that grows

For what is life without it

We really could not say

So I leave to you a memory

Of the love I sent your way

Accepting Change

I will fly like the wind she said

I’ll chase after the stars

I’ll look for new moonbeams

And pretend they are ours

I’ll sail on the oceans

To lands far and wide

And find us an island

Where we can just hide

I’ll climb up a mountain

And take in the view

One that I hope

I can share with just you

You only need to leave here

And all of your past

For surely you see

All these things can’t last

For I am that moment

Of which you’ve prepared

So put each foot forward

Away from your cares

And start a new chapter in life
