My shed is oh so quiet
Away from all my cares
The spade and fork for working
Is standing over there
The kettles purring nicely
As I make another brew
My chair that’s in the corner
Commands a garden view
The plot is growing gently
With plants of different size
With no weeds in between them
As I’ve hoed them from their lives
The water butt is dripping
Into an empty can
Which I will fill up later
To complete my little plan
But for now I’ll drink my cuppa
And have a bite to eat
For time spent in my little shed
I find is just a treat
