Silent Water
The waters laps so gently
Against a rippled shore
The motion is so constant
It’s been since ever more
The wind that’s in its slumbers
Does not seem to see
This ever flowing movement
Of water that is free
The moon she sends her signals
To try and hold the tide
But nothing in her make up
Can say she should not try
But water is the power
That moves all things around
In peaceful mediation
Without making any sound
