A Lifetime Of Sailing
I sailed upon an ocean
An ocean filled with dreams
And as slowly as I drifted
I fished for all my schemes
The one’s that fed a lifetime
On the journey that I pursued
From here into tomorrow
On a history I would conclude
No memories of these times
Would cloud the days to come
And only when I’ve finished
Would I see just what I had done..

I bet you can’t see me
Yes I’m really here
Just watching your actions
And removing your fears
For nothing can harm you
While I am around
Though I move in silence
Not making a sound
Unless for the singing
You get loud and clear
I do while I’m dancing
As I wander too near
All your adventures
Throughout all your time
Will fade as to nothing
When one day you’ll find
You’re back in the homeland
Between space and time
Where all of your memories
Of past lives reside
