Autumn sings the song for winter
As from her voice the earth seems bleaker
Trees once dressed in summers clothes
Their golden leaves they now dispose
For all their strength must stay within
In case they wake to chilly winds
Its time at last to hibernate
And you must be ready
For none can wait
The earth upon its axis twists
Away from the sun and all its bliss
So gather now all you can
And burrow deep inside the ground
Away from frost and all to come
Oh sleepy mouse you are the one
Who will dream about the spring

AUTUMN EQUINOX
The drifting of the seasons
In cycle with the moon
Dance on through the harvests
Of corn and crops festoon
The sun in lazy sleeping
Forgets to warm the soil
As hibernation beckons
A rest from summers toil
Then I in idle musing
Gaze upon this scene
Of a multi-coloured blankets
Of things that once have been
The dressings once so golden
Lay scattered on the ground
Deserted by the music
Of birds in lilting sound
The clouds up high pay homage
To all they can survey
While sweeping in this moment
The Autumn comes my way

Thought To Ponder – A worry has no dimensions so don’t judge someone who you think is worrying over some needless
trivial problem to them it might seem a mountain to climb – PTT
Music on You Tube – Katie Melia – I will Be There – a beautiful song.
