Angel of Secrets
Tell me your secrets she said with a smile
And I will sit with you and rest for a while
The love she released could light up the stars
As each precious second I counted as ours
The cells in my body pulsated with joy
As all of my secrets I did slowly deploy
Her smile grew much broader until I could see
She liked what I thought with relish and glee
I hope they all happen was all she would say
Then in that short second she went on her way
I sat there quite silent with nothing in play
As the Angel of Secrets she just flew away.

Angel of Forgiveness
Please forgive me
I was dreaming
I did not see you there
Standing oh so quiet
As I wrestled with my cares
Sometimes they overwhelm me
And clutter up my mind
While searching for some answers
To questions I’ve designed
I know if I just ask you
You’ll take away my fears
The ones that gather around me
And to my eyes bring tears
Your thoughts they are so gentle
Just like a soothing hand
I should have been more open
For I knew you’d understand
For there’s nothing you can’t cope with
Or haven’t seen before
My Angel of forgiveness
My friend forever more

MY LIFE IS LIKE AN ONION
EACH SKIN A DIFFERENT TIME
NO MATTER HOW YOU PEEL IT
IT’S BOUND TO MAKE YOU CRY
EACH LAYER HOLDS ITS SECRETS
OF TASKS I MUST PERFORM
EACH TIME THAT I INCARNATE
ANOTHER SKIN IS SHORN
YOU THINK EACH SKIN IS SIMILAR
THAT NOTHINGS REALLY CHANGED
BUT I’VE JUST LEARN’T A LESSON
THAT’S WHY I’VE REARRANGED
MY SKIN GOES ON FOREVER
AS IF IT MUST PROTECT
THIS SOUL THAT’S IN THE MIDDLE
AS IT LIVES OUT ALL ITS QUESTS
