Boxes
We all live in boxes and that’s no surprise
But each time we move their girth seems to rise
Our needs are no greater but we thrive to take space
Bigger and bigger as if in a race
Even though our contentment refuses to glow
I think I should mention something we all know
That no matter how lofty our box grows in size
It still will not make us in anyway wise
For its just our folly to chase a false dream
A moment in madness within life’s regime
As we rush toward our end
Thought to Ponder – It is better to be 70 years young than 40 years old – Oliver Wendell Holmes
