I’m wilding my garden
That’s what I’ve told my friends
Let nature have her moment
In a space I’m glad to lend
Bring on the yellow rattle
And nettles fierce and proud
For I will let them flourish
In fact I’ll let them crowd
For I’ve seen it on the T V
From presenters so renown
That I won’t need any compost
To spread along the ground
I’ll save a pretty fortune
And gain myself some time
With the water butt redundant
It will just feel like a crime
But who am I to argue
With people in the know
So wilding my garden
I’ll just give it a go.
Wilding- definition – A plant growing uncultivated in the wild either as a native or an escape
Thought To Ponder – Don’t walk in front of me; I may not follow.
Don’t walk behind me, I may not lead
Walk beside me; And just be my friend – Albert Camus
