Protect me for I am weeping
Said the ocean to the sky
My body is so broken
It makes me want to sigh
My waves they lose their temper
And beat upon the shore
In hope that some will listen
To the pain that I endure
My very depths are cluttered
With things I do not need
A dust bin of excesses
Where only waste succeeds
Please let me shake this flotsam
So I can breath again
As I wander around this planet
That used to be my friend
