This Poem is about a change of life…..
We Shed a life like a snake sheds its skin
But not really changing what’s within our soul.
Transition
He came in search of inner peace
So all his thoughts could be released
And in there place he made a home
In which his light could truly roam
And touch again what went before
Those many lives he had explored
Each had glowed within its time
While setting out on a path divine
Where does it lead when will it end
This journey to his very end
Till at last without a fear
His true self will be so near
To dance among the stars.

Tread upon that stepping stone
I’ll tread upon that stepping stone
That stepping stone called space
Where all things are connected
And nothing can be traced
Where stars that twinkled long ago
Still light the evening sky
To brighten up the darkness
Of space that’s passing by
Though some may think it empty
That really isn’t true
For look into the night sky
With its millions stars in view
Its then you’ll see the vastness
Beyond the scope of time
An everlasting journey
That beckons you and I
Although its just a sample
Of what in fact can be
The lights inside its darkness
Are really you and me.
Tranquility
I wish that I could bathe within
those gentle arms of calm
Where nothing makes you flustered
or brings to you alarm
Where all things have purpose
and seem so very right
While glowing like beacon
that guides me to his light
On a journey to forgiveness
for things I’ve yet to do
As I wait for my tomorrows
to see if they come true
While looking for the calm
