Time it just escapes me
No matter how I try
I just can’t stop the minutes
As they pass me by
For every little second
Has a place to be
And that’s not in the future

The Quest
Look into your future and you will see your past
For nothing in that vision is changed within the vast
As things are all repeated again and then again
So making all your choices will only end the same
A trip back home to heaven where all the answers lie
Within the halls of wisdom that’s closed to you and I
Except when hearts are opened to see inside your soul
And measure out the journey that each life does enfold
As it races to its conclusion upon this waking dream
That travels ever onward to a light that yet unseen
