The passage of time
it waits for no man
So we ride on its back
the best that we can
Now some they may tumble
and some they may fall
But time does not wait
or answer man’s call
For it’s on a journey
that never returns
Back to a place
for which we all yearn
For some it is childhood
and others their youth
And those on a challenge
to find their own truth
But clearly, yes clearly
they really should see
That times just a signpost
of where we should be
On clock that ticks forever.
