Winters on the ebb now
and soon we’ll face the spring
When tiny little snowdrops
will lift their heads and sing
Look out for all the flowers
that from the earth will rise
While spreading out their beauty
like a feast before your eyes
You’ll smell again their fragrance
as you brush passed all their blooms
They’ll lift up all your hopes
away from winters blues
The grass at last will cover
the patches in the lawn
And from the very treetops
the dapple shade will form
But wait I think to quickly
for the ground still has naught to say
Not until tomorrow
when spring is on its way.
Thought to Ponder-“It was one of those March days when the sun shines hot and the wind blows cold: when it is summer in the light, and winter in the shade.” Charles Dickins
I am back from a weeks holiday in Lanzarote, ready to get my garden in shape for what I think will be a lovely summer.
The flower seeds are bought and soon I will plant up trays and then I will watch natures magic take place.
