I’m no good with technology
It moves too fast for me
The minute I think I’m up to date
It’s out of sight you see
It’s jargon has me puzzled
What does it really mean
Words take on a new life
And I’m not sure what’s obscene
My friends in truth
Do not know much
About this techno age
In fact if we were back in school
We’d be in infant grade
But still I’m optimistic
Although the futures vast
I wonder what this button does
Here goes I’m off at last
Well I wasn’t expecting that ?????
The Bench
A redundant bench
Where thoughts have sat
Where friends have met
And had their chats
Now cast aside
Behind a shrub
Flaked and worn
And thought no good
Lost like times
That once have been
A shadow of this gardens dream
It will not fight another day
Now left to rot and fade away
Along with all its memories
