I’m not quite what you’re thinking
I’m really not the same
My mind it wanders freely
Without a care to claim
The grey that’s in my matter
Explodes with thoughts anew
As they seem to gather around me
Like clouds infecting blue
The atoms in my being
Ignite with pure delight
As they dance across my vision
Caressing all that’s right
My energy is rampant
And full of love’s sweet praise
As I wander ever different
Throughout these human days
It will not last forever
This cord that holds me down
As I reach so far above me
Towards the light I’ve found
The one that comes from thinking
I’m really not the same
And what you see before you
Of course It has no name.

A Cloud Hated Night Time

A cloud hated  night time
So it followed the dawn
It was there every morning
When a new day was formed
It wept when it felt like
And always changed form
So you’d think it so fresh
That a new one was born
The sky was its saviour
And helped it keep pace
With the arc of the sun
As it always gave chase
How long has this happened
I might here you say
Since a time before man
In a perfect array
For its mother the ocean
And its father the wind
Gave birth to this cloud
As the new world did spring

IMAGE and STATUS

People have real problems accepting themselves for what they are

and seldom see themselves as others do

Almost like a sweet wrapped in colourful paper

(Which is just a protection after all and nothing whatsoever

to do with the taste held within)

People are usually reluctant to shed this wrapper

because it would expose them to all sorts of dangers

some real and some just perceived

As I have mentioned the real sweet is never the wrapper

Once we get beneath this layer of protection

we start to see the real person inside

This exposure for some is too difficult to bare

So the protective wrapper sticks tightly to them

Thus effectively hiding their true essence

Which means no one can really get to sample properly

what could be the finest confection in the world

That same wrapper used for protection

Can also announce to the world

what type of person you perceive yourself to be

You might think because of your wrapper that you are a superior person

or even a plain person

But if you never remove your wrapper

then people cannot ascertain the real you

So shed your wrapper and be yourself

Ignore those who do not like the taste of the real you

For there will be many who will think you divine
