Silent Raindrop

I am but a raindrop

That wept out of the sky

Here to nourish flowers

As in their beds they lie

Within my very structure

A rainbow lays in wait

To spread the joys of colour

Upon sweet natures plate

I once lived in an ocean

Where no one else could see

A vision of my beauty

As it was meant to be

Now the earth consumes my being

So the flowers in life can share

A memory of an ocean

Where no one knows you’re there.

Popular people
Stand out in a crowd
Their auras are special
With colours so proud
The mixing of shades
Reflect in their light
While built on a background
That’s ever so white
Nature surrounds them
With vibrations of care
For wherever you look
You’ll find that there, there
Those popular people
Who bring us that gift
The one filled with joy
That somehow we’ve missed
A brightness of being
To which they exude
Those smiles and a twinkle
From the face of a fool
Like that face in the mirror
I surely can see
For that popular person
I longed to be me
