More poems from my archives, the first one is a carry over from last week.

The second poem is from 2014.

Music to my Soul

You bring my soul such music
I dare not take a breath
In case I miss its beating
As onward I do quest
It sings of nature’s vastness
While dancing through her trees
In rhythms just like an ocean
That ebbs and flows with ease
It’s up there in the cosmos
As in the stars it plays
Then down amongst the mountains
Its beauty it relays
It’s in the very magic
That makes sweet mother earth
And all the things that live here
To which she’s given birth
And I am oh so lucky
To think I have the time
To listen to the music
That god alone designed

Pathway through life

I was looking for the pathway
To guide me through this life
And I call upon my Angels
To bathe me in their light
To shine the way before me
And I’ll follow in their wake
Sure with every footstep
Of the joys that do await
A disciple of forgiveness
Who never will forsake
A God that never falters
Though his heart at times must break
For he feel each living moment
Of all that comes to pass
That’s one thing of which I was sure of
As I wander down this path
A path that’s lined with angels
For now at last I see
They guide to my maker
Who waits at the gate for me
Were he put his joys around me
And gather me inside
A place that’s called forever
Where all souls do reside

Thought to Ponder – “When I stand before God at the end of my life, I would hope that I would not have a single bit of talent left, and could say, ‘I used everything you gave me.”-Erma Bombeck
