I’m on the trail of Angels

To see just where they go

One minute I can feel them

The next I just don’t know

They must be very busy

Sorting out my way

For I seem to be in limbo

When answers I must play

Right or wrong eludes me

When making up my mind

In the hope I make good judgments’

In all the quests I find

They never will chastise me

Instead they give me love

For whatever I decide

Is OK with those above

So I’m on the trail of Angels

Who knows just what I’ll find

Perhaps the things that’s missing

From this world of mine

And if by chance you see them

Maybe you can tell

That I’m right behind them

And long with them to dwell

Within the light of heaven

Where all the Angels sing

About the joy of living

And the gifts that life can bring

Nothings Mine

Perhaps I’m just a guardian,

of everything I see.

And really own but nothing,

for all in life is free.

From flowers in the garden,

to little birds that fly.

Each thing it has its moment,

within this world to lie

Though lifetimes maybe fleeting,

at last in truth I see

No matter what I think I own

There’s naught belongs to me.

Rodin

What is it that perplexes
The thinker as he sits
The clay that makes his being
In thoughtful furrows knits
But they are just reflections
From out the sculptors mind
The ones that blazed a pathway
That no one else could find
True he left some weary
Within his selfish wake
But others took a glory
His kiss the world would take
The portals in his vision
Too most would bring surprise
But to really see them properly
You’d need this sculptor’s eye
It took more than his lifetime
For all in life to see
An artist’s mind is different
To those like you and me

Thought to Ponder – It’s your outlook on life that counts. If you take yourself lightly and don’t take yourself too seriously, pretty soon you can find the humor in our everyday lives. And sometimes it can be a lifesaver. – Betty White
