I have lived this poem this week

I’m feeling under the weather
I’m really out of sorts
I think that it’s an infection
And tablets need to be bought
I’m being very brave
For I’m not the one to moan
In fact I am quite hardy
If the truth be known
Though I can’t move off the sofa
I won’t make too much fuss
But a hot drink would be lovely
For this cold it is quite rough
Some may say it’s man flu
Though really I don’t know
But it’s laid out before you
And taken all my go

Life is like a circle

Life is like a circle
That ends where it began
For the energy of living
Will do the best it can
But souls are independent
And do just what they please
Along a track of free will
That no one can appease
Now some might leave quite early
For their circle is so small
And some go on forever
It doesn’t make sense at all
No one on earth predicts this
Although they think they can
But the lifespan of each circle
Belongs to everyone
From babes right through to pensioners
They’re a forward thrust of time
As life runs in a circle
Like there’s and yours and mine

Magical Explorations

Adrift within its magic
Sailing through the stars
Skating around the moonbeams
In search of dreams that’s ours
Where will this flight, it take us
How far in time and space
Along with cosmic rainbows
Whose coloured arcs we chase
The sun her spots bombard us
Propelling all her light
To bring us new beginnings
On far off earths so bright
We travel in an instance
That takes the whole of time
On a voyage of exploration
In search of god divine

Thought to Ponder – The spiral in a snail’s shell is the same mathematically as the spiral in the Milky Way galaxy, and it’s also the same mathematically as the spirals in our DNA. It’s the same ratio that you’ll find in very basic music that transcends cultures all over the world.-Joseph Gordon- Levitt
