I Am Only Nine

I will change the world he said
Though I am only nine
I’ll teach the world to climb a tree
Then I think they’ll find
A view around the forest
That few will get to see
One that life keeps hidden
To the likes of you and me

Tiny little creatures
Swimming all around
Searching for their breakfast
