God catches our fallen teardrops
The ones we weep each day
Because they’re filled with loving
That now we’ve wept away
He gathers them for a purpose
To take beyond the sky
All the way to heaven
And here’s the reason why
He gives them to the Angels
So they can cleanse each soul
Before they start their journeys
To lives as yet untold
Each soul is everlasting
But needs to feel our love
So they can start a lifetime
Truly blessed from up above
That’s why when we see a baby
They are pure as pure can be
For they have bathed in heaven
In the love from you and me
