I know you?
Who are you?
I ask in a glance
You’re there in my mirror
And you’re not there by chance
I seem to remember
I’ve seen you before
You’re features are common
But I’m not really sure
Maybe once, I had known you
In days of my past
But the notions not strong now
So I expect it won’t last
There’s somebody calling
I really must go
It’s just your reflection
Is like someone I know
You’re stood at that mirror
But what do you see
Your history forgotten
Like your love for me
I’m lonely without you
And you’re only there
I wish I could get back
The love that we shared
But your world and my world
Are acres a part
And there’s no place for sentiment
Or affairs of the heart
Your body is constant
But your minds far away
And each day together
Is hard to replay
So I’ll live on the one thing
You really can’t see
That beautiful past
That you gave to me.
Bless……
