Here is a beautiful poem to dwell on from my 2010. archives
Contemplation
I’m caught in contemplation
Of how I must proceed
Do I feed my wants and longings
Or just take time to breathe
The angels lift my spirits
Whenever I feel down
As on my head they furnish
Gods golden love and crown
My mind it sees such beauty
My eyes just can’t perceive
The gifts that’s spread around me
Just like the dancing leaves
But all too soon they’re missing
Lost amongst my tears
As I in idle thinking
Weep away my fears.
For time she is my mistress
Who’s sure to have her way
As I in contemplation
Dream this life away
The second poem is about the many reincarnations, I believe we live during our souls journey towards the light of love.
COLONIES
I SEE THE MANY FACES
REVOLVING AROUND MY SOUL
SOME THAT I HAVE USED
WITH STORIES I HAVE TOLD
SOME ARE FOR THE FUTURE
WITHIN THE MAGIC PLAN
THE ONE THAT TAKES A SOUL
AND MAKES WITH IT A MAN
LESSONS ON MY JOURNEY
TO COLONIZE THE STARS
WITH LOVE FROM ALL THE ANGELS
WHO BARE WITH ME, MY SCARS
I SELDOM STOP TO LISTEN
WITH TIME TO DRAW A BREATH
AS FOR A NEW TOMORROW
I DANCE WITHOUT A REST
FOR SOULS THEY NEED NO PROMPTING
TO TAKE OR LEAVE A LIFE
FOR I AM ONE OF TRILLIONS
THAT OCCUPY THIS LIGHT
THE ONE THAT COMES FROM BEING
THE THING THAT I SHOULD BE
WITHIN THIS WORLD OF WONDER
THIS COLONY OF ME
This poem I just picked at random from my archives.
Music to my soul
You bring my soul such music
I dare not take a breath
In case I miss its beating
As onward I do quest
It sings of nature’s vastness
While dancing through her trees
In rhythms just like an ocean
That ebbs and flows with ease
It’s up there in the cosmos
As in the stars it plays
Then down amongst the mountains
Its beauty it relays
It’s in the very magic
That makes sweet mother earth
And all the things that live here
To which she’s given birth
And I am oh so lucky
To think I have the time
To listen to the music
That god alone designed
Thoughts to Ponder – “For the first forty days a child
is given dreams of previous lives. Journeys, winding paths,
a hundred small lessons
and then the past is erased.” – Michael Ondaatje
