This poem was taken from my 2nd  book Cherished Whispers..

An Angel came from heaven to walk right by my side

She led me to a pathway and said she’d be my guide

She showed to me the wonders that lay at every turn

Then posed to me the questions about the things I’d learn

Like why the sun each morning would rouse me from my sleep

Or clouds in their momentum from time to time would weep

She spoke about the creatures whose space I had to share

And said if I’m not careful they won’t always be there

She told me of all the people who’d come into my life

About the good and bad times the joys the cares the strife

But one thing that was constant from all the things I’d see

This very Angel talking was always there with me

Dancing Truth

We dance around the truth sometimes and don’t say what we mean

We have  sure thoughts to think about and then we don’t come clean

Why can’t we say just what we mean and put the rest to shame

Or is the fact we’re thinking it something we can’t explain

Sometimes it’s fact or fiction they really are the same

It’s just they’re different viewpoints and not the truth we claim
