I thought of two numbers 27 and 42 and counted down from the top of my archives list and these were the two poems I found.
A LESSON IN PATIENCE
TO STILL MY MIND
AND HALT ITS TRAVELS
TO LINGER LONG
IN TIMELESS SPACE
TO SEE THIS WORLD
WITH EYES OF WONDER
TO HOLD ONES VOICE
IN HUSHED REPOSE
TO CARRY NOUGHT
BUT THE JOYS OF NOWNESS
THESE ARE THE THINGS
FOR WHICH I YEARN
A SIMPLE THANK YOU
IT TAKES A SIMPLE THANK YOU
TO WARM THE FIERCEST HEART
TO CREATE A NEW BEGINNING
A PLACE WHERE YOU CAN START
TO PASS THE SMILE OF FRIENDSHIP
AS YOU GO ON YOUR WAY
AND MAKE A JOY OF LIVING
BOTH NOW AND EVERYDAY
