Beyond the morning whisper
That carries in the dawn
Between the rows of aspens
The joys of love are born
Nothing from the nightime
Could give away a clue
That there amongst the ether
Is all in life that’s new
The dew upon the flowers
Reluctantly does fall
And weeps into the long grass
Respecting natures call
The energies of wisdom
That seem to flow about
Are really just the murmurs
That once we used to shout
For now at last the silence
Will tell it own sweet tale
As I hear the morning whisper
Who new day does regale.
