Epilogue Time

My garden like me

Is showing it’s age

Now Nature herself

Has turned over my page

Why look to the future

That will not be mine

I prefer to dwell

In my epilogue time

Reflecting on glories

And ignoring defeats

Especially those moments

When I became weak

Success is so trivial

It needs it’s own space

To think that maybe once

I kept up with it’s pace

Now it’s just history

And not really for me

For I’m in the place

Where I really should be

In my epilogue time
