Gentle spirit of the night
Weave your dreams of pure delight
With magic wand, cast your spell
As in the darkness you do dwell
Spread your stardust all around
Like crispy frost on barren ground
Chase the moon across the sky
Sing to trees sweet lullabies
Call the dawn from far away
Champion yet, another day

Solar Lights
Solar lights reduce the dark
Whilst casting shadows that leave no marks
Then all at once within their glow
They give to me a night time show
Bats in flight that swoop and climb
Whilst telling all its feeding time
As insects gather around each light
Bats take their fill with sheer delight
And what was thought a gently scene
Now turns into a nightmare theme
The strong survive or so they say
So they can fight another day
But all this seems to say to me
Is life is just a lottery
Were bats have a winning ticket
