The Sky Is Crying

Behold The sky is crying

What brings it to these tears

For she looks upon the earth below

And knows it lives in fear

For humankinds on a mission

To strip it of its life

For nothing now’s held sacred

And nowhere now is right

They’ve pillaged all the valleys

And lay waste to all the seas

Where once it bathed in glory

It struggles now to breathe

The earth it had a pattern

A balance to uphold

A state of equilibrium

Where naught was bought or sold

For all had equal value

With each thing in its place

Now its utter chaos

No order can be traced

The sky can see this folly

The sky can see it all

As it wanders around this vision

And cries upon it all.
