please pull up a chair

and sit for a while

so much in this life

simply goes by unseen

or were you alone

did you find safety

within your own home

or did you just wander

like a ship on the sea

while chasing a new day

wherever it may be

there are so many questions

I simply could ask

but forgive me for asking

for I know it’s a task
