Hard Mile
Sometimes we travel the hard miles
To be where we should be
And as our journey lengthens
Who knows what we will see
Perhaps we’ll bathe in laughter
Or shred a little tear
With our Angel right beside us
To take away our fears
We’ll never stop our movements
Until we reach the end
Where we will meet those people
That once had been our friends
So we’ll put our best foot forward
To help us on the way
It’s just today’s a hard mile
So there’s nothing more to say
