Bluebells Nod As I Pass By
Hoping that, they’ll catch my eye
For spring is here without surprise
As sleepy shrubs they come alive
Birds at dawn so sweetly sing
And bring a newness to all things
Old Jack Frost has given way
In time for springs seedling display
What magic from the soil will grow?
Only nature’s thoughts will know
Right now a Peris waves its flowers
Resplendent in its chosen hours
Forget me nots burst in array
As sunlight on their flowers play
Now winters gone and in the past
And spring is here again at last
To tempt us with her beauty.
My mind became in turmoil
I could not find my rest
The things I once rejoiced in
Now seemed to fail the test
I could not see the answer
Until I called your name
Then you were there beside me
All my worries for to claim
You spread your wings around me
And bathed me in your light
Then all at once my problems
Just faded out of sight
So long to call your name
For since you’ve took my troubles
My life is bright again
The clouds can paint such pictures
As they roll on by
Taking on the features
Of Angels in the sky
The ones that gaze upon us
And guide us with their light
Then fade into the cloud base
And quickly out of sight
They build a world around us
Of things we have to do
While we wander through each lifetime
With tasks to start anew
For nothing can defeat us
With Angels by our side
As we look upon the heavens
For those gifts that are our guides
Thought to Ponder – Nothing in life is to be feared, it is only to be understood. Now is the time to understand more, so that we may fear less. – Marie Curie
