Withered Dreams

I am lost in Withered Dreams
Where once I saw a future
Now holds forgotten schemes
The book that I’ve been reading
Now races to its end
And all its final chapters
Will make me see my friend
That life it has no ending
But forever tells its tales
That each and everyone of us
Who comes to earth will play
Some chapters will be tragic
And some so full of light
But each must be encountered
Before all things come right
And we each one are the author
Of what we have in store
In every breathing moment
We must in life endure
While chasing to our end

Below is a poem from my archives

BOUQUET OF CARE

THERE BETWEEN EACH PETAL
DRESSED IN COLOURS BRIGHT
IS ALL THE CARE YOU SEND ME
THAT MAKES MY WORLD SO RIGHT
IT’S WRAPPED WITHIN ITS PERFUME
AND PERMEATES THE AIR
AS I BECOME ENRAPTURED
WITH ESSENCE THAT IS THERE
FOR THE FLOWERS SENT WITH LOVING
HAVE ONLY THIS TO SAY
THAT YOU ARE THINKING OF ME
BOTH NOW AND EVERYDAY
