It pulled at the air
Whilst dispersing a cloud
The roar of its engines
Announcing its power
So many miles lay gently ahead
As onward and upward like an arrow it sped
No vision of people
That dwelt there inside
Only the shell of their silvery ride
Far off places now beckoned its call
As its movement increased with no effort at all
Soon just a dot then gone from my view
Just a plane on a journey
In a sky full of blue.

Nature is impersonal, awe-inspiring, elegant, eternal. It’s geometrically perfect. It’s tiny and gigantic. You can travel far to be in a beautiful natural setting, or you can observe it in your backyard – or, in my case, in the trees lining New York City sidewalks, or in the clouds above skyscrapers. Gretchen Rubin.
Beauty is all around us we just have to find the time to see it.PTT
