Beneath the belly of a dolphin an ocean angel hides

Keeping its presents a secret away from prying eyes

In vain she tries to balance the yin against the yang

And bring back all the beauty about which she once sang

Though plastic now consumes her as it grows from day to day

She alone is praying that man will change his ways

But alas the clock is ticking and movement is to slow

And the ocean as we know it will soon just cease to flow.

Beneath the belly of a Tiger a jungle angel hides

Desperate in her longing to stop the growing tide

Of concrete in its movement to go from shore to shore

Until the expanse of jungle is gone forever more

And what of all the creatures displaced without a home

Left to search in sorrow without a place to go

Beneath the belly of a native a nature angel hides

Weeping for the memory of a way of life that’s died

Nothing in their culture would the native  really change

For once they had a balance  and a land without a claim

So what about their future well no one really knows

Thats why the angels watching just weeps to see them go.

Here are two poems  I have put on for today, also I have up dated the Poem of the Month for March.

The next blog will be on the 5th of March.

The Water of Life

Half of us is water
That’s why we too and fro
Washing around life’s minerals
From our heads right to our toes
With moods so ever changing
Like the constant tides
We never seem to notice
How much we flow inside
The sun and moon persuade us
How each day we feel
In that constant whirlpool
Our plumbing does conceal
I wonder if this mixture
Contain the seeds of life
Taken from that fountain
Whose source is in the light

Thought to Ponder-“If we never experience the chill of a dark winter, it is very unlikely that we will ever cherish the warmth of a bright summer’s day. Nothing stimulates our appetite for the simple joys of life more than the starvation caused by sadness or desperation. In order to complete our amazing life journey successfully, it is vital that we turn each and every dark tear into a pearl of wisdom, and find the blessing in every curse.” – Anthon Maarten
